Master's degree in international accounting (2010), degree in accounting and administration in the field of financial administration and control (2000) and bachelor's degree in accounting and administration (1998) from Lisbon Accounting and Business School, Lisbon Polytechnic Institute (LABS-ISCAL).He has the title of specialist in financial auditing, with proof by public examination, issued by the Polytechnic Institutes of Lisbon, Coimbra and Leiria (2022).
He has been a member of the Portuguese Order of Certified Accountants since 1998 and has more than twenty years' professional experience as a financial accountant, auditor, auditor supervisor, trainer and consultant in accounting, administration and taxation in various national and international business organisations.
He is a invited adjunct professor and has been teaching financial accounting and ethics and deontology at ISCAL since 2010. He has currently been academic responsible for the subject of ethics and deontology in the accounting and administration degree programme since 2023.
He is a researcher in the area of accounting education in innovative pedagogical projects in the teaching and learning of accounting and has an interest in the history of accounting.
