Ana Morattori | Seville, Spain
Know the testimony of Ana Morattori , one of the students who chose the ISCAL for their ERASMUS experience+.
Ana Morattori lived in Spain and chose ISCAL to realize the dream of doing Erasmus+. It comes from the University of Seville and is in the last year of Economics. " This is my last semester. I will finish (the course) here at ISCAL ", tells the young girl.
In January 2020, Ana went on to study in Brazil for a semester through the Interchange program and reveals that it was at that time that she fell in love and learned to dominate the Portuguese. " Arrived without knowing anything from Portuguese. As at the university no one spoke English and the classes were all in Portuguese, I had to learn to talk, "he says.
Two months later, he saw himself compelled to return home due to the COVID-19 pandemic and, although he performed the semester online, confesses that he felt he had a" debt " to the Portuguese. "It was this and the curiosity in knowing more about Portugal that made me put Lisbon as my first choice to do Erasmus +".
Passionate about the city of Lisbon and the Portuguese gastronomy, Ana Morattori claims to be coping well with the pandemic despite being away from home. At ISCAL since September, it tells us that you are enjoying the experience and the way in which classes are lectured. " The teachers are very close and they are always willing to help. As with any university, sometimes it's kind of stressful to keep all the work of the class in the day, but the truth is I like all the subjects I'm having at the ISCAL ".
The young woman highlights the discipline Simulation Project in International Business and confesses to us:" I'm fascinated that the institute has invested in this resource where we can learn many parts of a real business simply 'playing'. No doubt, I have learned more in a few months than in many years ". The ISCAL for you is a very close Higher Institute, in which students have the opportunity to spend their free time with friends in the basement to play pool or matriculation. "The food of the canteen is delicious and very cheap and the classes are small and that makes, from my point of view, to learn better," he says.
From Lisbon, Ana loves the excellent weather and getting a lot of different plans done. "You can go to watch the sunset in one of the many viewpoints (I already have my favourite), go to the beach, visit museums or simply go to the High Quarter to drink a glass and meet many lisboets and foreigners", are some of the suggestions that the young Spaniard gives us.
To finish, Ana Morattori considers, thus, that having the opportunity to do Erasmus + is a privilege and that everyone who has the opportunity to experience it must be very grateful: to have the opportunity to live in another country, to know another language, another culture and to meet people of diverse nationalities. " I think when the Erasmus experience ends, no one is the same person. It's an experience that I recommend to everyone, although getting out of the comfort zone can be scary, it's the only way to grow as a person, " it ends.
